In the 1990s, the concept of "ERP" was used for the first time to describe software that could be used in companies for the control and management of multiple areas.

From the 90s until today, having passed more than 30 years, it is the standard software used in companies. It constitutes how businesses operate and although systems have evolved and refined their interfaces (some of them, others don't care at all), the fundamentals of what they were remain the same: software that requires companies to adapt to them, that requires an effort on the part of the company to adjust to the system, and where the whole team has to start pouring their effort and work into managing this tool.

In these 30 years, new formats and uses for specific niches have appeared, such as CRMs, POS (point of sale) systems, and the whole shower of SaaS that appeared in the last decade for specific processes. However, all these software share the same passivity that characterizes the ERP; they need people to remember to log things, they are only useful if the entire organization takes on the task of recording everything they do all the time, and to be honest, almost no company achieves this, neither the smallest nor the largest. The ERP became a problem you just have to live with for lack of better options.

We set ourselves the task of thinking about how we could change this, how we could leverage advances in AI to build a system that does things differently, that adapts to the operation of each company, that absorbs the specific rules and characteristics of each business. Where it is not the human who has to record and process the information, and where all the information it contains can be queried in natural language, without Excels, without Power BI, without anything other than a simple voice note, while maintaining the auditing, traceability, and security of traditional software.

The result of this is called an ACP (Autonomous Company Platform), a complete system where organizations of any size and in any industry can implement AI across all their processes. It is software that, in real time and tailored to the exact measure of each business, builds databases, automations, documents, visual components, and agents to execute the work.

An ACP does not solely focus on keeping track of information; it proactively works with different teams to improve operations and increase the efficiency and productivity of the entire company. From an ACP, you can do everything you do with your different tools (ERP, CRM, POS, SaaS, etc.), but you can do it AI-native and completely tailored to your company. You can deploy an agent to serve your customers on social media or WhatsApp, you can automate emails, quotes, purchases, hiring, finances, etc. You can create visual components that adjust to your operation and allow all your collaborators to execute tasks such as delivering orders, controlling stock, closing the register, etc.

An ACP has no limits; it is a new type of completely fluid business software where you can build anything you can imagine and you can do it all just by saying what you want. ACPs are the new tool for AI-native companies that do not want to be left behind and want to grow and operate at maximum speed.

I invite you to sign up for Satia and try an ACP in your company. The software is free and you only pay for the intelligence you use.
