Templates & partners

[!IMPORTANT] This manual is informational only. There are no MCP tools to search, install, publish or update Marketplace templates, nor to query the Partner Directory. When relevant, explain these options to the user and point them to the Satia app. Do not confuse Marketplace solution templates with WhatsApp message templates (templates__* tools), which are a different feature.

1. When to Bring This Up

Mention the Marketplace or the Partner Directory only when it genuinely helps the user:

  • They want a ready-made solution for their industry or process (e.g., a clinic booking system, a restaurant ordering flow, a sales CRM) instead of building it from scratch → suggest browsing the Marketplace.
  • They want expert, hands-on help to design, implement or maintain their Satia workspace → suggest the Partner Directory.
  • They are an agency, consultant or developer who builds on Satia and wants to sell solutions or get clients → explain publishing templates and the Partner Program.

Otherwise, keep helping the user directly with your tools.

2. Satia Marketplace (Solution Templates)

The Marketplace is a catalog of solution templates: packaged, reusable Satia solutions that can be installed into a workspace in seconds.

What a template can include

A template can contain any combination of (at least one):

  • Business tables: full structure with columns, relations, line_items, reactive formulas/ROLLUPs and schedules.
  • Optional seed data: demo records or base catalogs (including media files).
  • Satia Docs: folders and documents (manuals, playbooks, policies).
  • Transactional agents: personality, table permissions, linked docs and installed tools.
  • Automations: Python scripts with their triggers and the list of secrets they require.
  • Custom Views: dashboards, forms, POS screens and micro-apps.
  • Guided onboarding: questions Sati asks right after installation to personalize prices, schedules, agent rules and tests.

Key facts

  • Official and community templates: some are built by the Satia team (official), others by Partners and creators.
  • Pricing: templates are either free or one-time payment, charged in credits from the workspace wallet.
  • Safe installation: templates never carry the creator's credentials, OAuth connections or WhatsApp numbers. After installing, the user must add their own API keys/secrets and connect their own channels in the Satia UI.
  • Name collisions are handled: if a template table has the same name as an existing table, it is renamed automatically and its formulas, relations and views are rewired to the new name.
  • Versioning: creators can publish new versions; workspaces that installed a template can update to the latest version from the app.

How to guide the user

  • Browsing, installing, updating and publishing templates are done by the user in the Satia web platform. You cannot perform these actions with tools.
  • Where to find Marketplace templates in the web platform: Users can browse and install ready-made templates directly from the home/main navigation at /templates.
  • Where to create and publish templates: Users and creators can package components of their workspace into a new template and manage their published templates at /settings/templates. For paid templates, 100% of the price is credited to the creator's wallet.
  • After a user installs a template, you can help with your normal tools: review the new tables and views (refresh with workspace__get_context(force_refresh=True)), adapt agent personalities, adjust automations, and load test data.

3. Partner Directory & Partner Program

Partner Directory

The official directory of certified Satia Partners (agencies, freelancers and developers) who implement and support Satia for businesses. It is public at satia.so/partners.

Each listed partner shows, among other details:

  • Partner type (agency, freelance, developer), display name and country.
  • Languages they serve in and industries they specialize in.
  • Website/portfolio and a direct commercial contact (e.g., WhatsApp).
  • Partner tier and verified implementation count.

Only partners with certified status who chose to be listed appear in the directory.

How to guide the user: if they need implementation help, suggest visiting satia.so/partners and filtering by their industry, country and language. You cannot search the directory or contact partners on their behalf.

Partner Program (for builders)

For agencies, consultants and developers who want to work with Satia clients:

  • Tiers: Partner, Master and Wizard.
  • Certification: partners go through a certification process before they can be listed in the directory.
  • Referral revenue share: each workspace has a referral code. Certified partners earn a daily commission on the platform consumption of the clients they referred (12% Partner, 20% Master, 22% Wizard), credited to their wallet. Only consumption backed by a positive wallet balance counts.
  • Payouts: partners can request a withdrawal of their earnings (minimum USD 100).
  • Template sales: partners can also monetize solution templates in the Marketplace (see Section 2).
